Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie is an Oscar winning actress, movie director, humanitarian and global celebrity. In recent years, Jolie has moved into film production, acting as director, writer and producer. She has six children, three of whom are adopted. She serves for the UNHCR (helps displaced persons).
Angelina was born in Los Angeles, California. Her parents were actors and this was a significant influence on her early life. When she was eleven, she went ho an important Theatre Institute, that was important to her philosophy of acting, she learned how to stay in a part. She later went at New York university for study films. For someone she is "the most beautiful women" but she had difficult periods in her childhood where she was very thin and she was wearing glasses. She recounts also that she had a difficult relationship with her father, Jon Voight. In her late teens, she also suffered from depression and periods of self-harm. She recounts that she was self-distructive and she thanks her first adopted daughter for helping she to pull out of depression. In 1993, she began her professional film carreer. In 1997 she received her first Golden Globe Award. In 1998 and in 1999 she starred two person wirh difficult because one spent time in a psychiatric hospital and the other was a person who died from AIDS. And she become difficult to deal with Jolie's past. Jolie gives money at UNHCR (United Nations Hight Commissioner for Refugees) and she also protects the interests of children immigrants and other vulnerable children. She has also worked with the Education Partnership for children of Couflict. In 2011 she established the Jolie Legal Fellowship, a network of lawyers who are sponsored to advocate for human rights in developing countries. In 2004 Jolie began filming with Brad Pitt, and there they know each other and create a sort of chemistry between them. In 2014 the couple married and in 2016 the couple separated. In 2013 she had a preventative double mastectomy to reduce her risk of breast cancer. Her doctors told her that her genes left her an 87% chance of developing breast cancer. Her mother died from Ovarian cancer. Jolie explained her decision to take preventative action for minimize the risk as much she could.
